Terms of use and service

These terms cover https://novashvac.com and the heating, cooling, and indoor-air work Novas LLC describes on this site. They are template language for a placeholder company. Have counsel review them before you rely on them in the field.

01 / Scope

Who these terms cover

By using this site or requesting a quote, you agree to these terms. Novas LLC provides residential HVAC service in Texas, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois. We do not sell solar, batteries, or energy contracts.

02 / Coverage

Service area

We take jobs in Texas, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois. A request from outside that area does not create an obligation to dispatch. We will say so if we cannot help.

03 / Quotes

Quotes are estimates

Online and phone quotes are ballparks. They are not a fixed bid and not a contract. The written scope we leave at the house is what we install or repair, and the price on that scope is what you pay unless we both agree to a change.

Equipment availability, access, existing ductwork, electrical service, and permits can change the final number after we see the system.

04 / Work

On-site work

Work starts only after you approve the written scope. You give us safe access to the equipment, a working electrical disconnect, and a place to park and stage materials.

We may pause a job if the house is unsafe, the system is not as described, or a permit cannot be pulled. We will tell you before we leave.

05 / Payment

Payment, cancellation, and refunds

Diagnostic fees, trip charges, and deposits are due as stated on the quote or invoice. Remaining balances are due when the work is complete unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You may cancel a scheduled non-emergency visit before the crew is en route. Deposits for ordered equipment are refundable only to the extent the supplier will take the equipment back. Emergency dispatch that is already rolling is billable.

If we cannot complete approved work for a reason on our side, we refund the unused portion of what you paid for that work.

06 / Warranty

Warranties

Manufacturer warranties cover equipment as the manufacturer writes them. Our labor warranty, if any, is stated on the invoice or work order. Misuse, lack of maintenance, or work by another contractor can void both.

07 / Emergency

Emergency calls

After-hours dispatch is for no-heat, no-cool, or unsafe equipment. Calling (555) 014-2000 does not guarantee a same-night arrival. We will give you a window when we accept the call.

08 / Home

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you can authorize work at the address, that the information on the quote is accurate, and that pets and occupants are clear of the work area. You keep filters and access panels as we leave them after a visit.

09 / Limits

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including food spoilage, hotel stays, or lost business, that result from a delay or a system that was already failing.

Our total liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, except where the law does not allow that limit.

10 / Website

This website

Copy, photos, and calculators on this site are for general information. Savings figures are illustrations, not a guarantee of your bill. Do not rely on the site in place of a licensed diagnosis at the house.

11 / Updates

Changes

We may update these terms on this page. The date at the top is the version that applies. The current version is dated September 5, 2026. Questions go to support@novasliving.com or (555) 014-2000.
